MMP Fridays - July 15

15 July 2011

Some good radio on MMP at the moment.  RadioLIVE's MMP Mondays started this week with a focus on the status quo - MMP.  For the next four Mondays they look at the alternative systems, ably assisted by the University of Auckland's Raymond Miller.

Also, this weekend Radio NZ's Insight takes a look at the MMP debate.  Tune in after the 8am news this Sunday, and repeated Monday night after 9pm (and Wednesdays at 12:30am, for our shift workers out there:)

TV3's Firstline did a good piece on the coming MMP referendum debate on Tuesday.  Its not online unfortunately yet, nor is a debate between the two campaigns on David Beatson's long-form interview show on Stratos which also went to air this week.

Other stories that caught our eye in the past 7 days include:

And on the home front, leafleting in Auckland and Tauranga, another banner making session in Wellington, campaign planning meetings in our Palmerston North and London branches, banners start going up in Auckland and planning underway for workshops with Philip Temple in Christchurch.  And finally, we're now a legal entity :) Go to http://www.societies.govt.nz/cms/homepage/banner_template/SOCAGENT and search Campaign for MMP and you'll find us.

Till next week,
